Volunteers
Volunteering is an exciting and rewarding way to participate with Audubon. We are always looking for enthusiastic individuals or groups of people to support and enhance our programs. Education Scholarship Fund
One of the largest growing needs for public school students in Texas is access to field-based experiences which are mandated by the Texas Education Agency. The Trinity River Audubon Center, with over 120 acres of wetland habitat, will be a living laboratory for these field-based science education programs.
Audubon is working to ensure no child is denied this important educational opportunity due to economic status. Partnering with local funders, we are working to establish a $5 million scholarship fund to deliver field-based science programs free of charge to Title I schools in Dallas County.
